2.11. Gasoline, Oil and Acid Resistance. The product shall not wrinkle, lift or soften when immersed in unleaded gasoline (86-88 octane) for 4 hours, and to drops of 10.6 normal sulfuric acid (specific gravity 1.300) covered with a watch glass for 24 hours, and to 3 drops of lubricating oil of the paraffinic/ aliphatic type, as SAE Number 30 HD (detergent) motor oil, for 24 hours at 50° +/- 1° C, covered with a watch glass.
2.12. Consistency. The liquid product shall be free from skins, and gels and shall be dispersible by hand stirring to a smooth and homogenous mixture.

3. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS
3.1. Material Safety Data Sheets. Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) shall be submitted in accordance with Fed-Std-313.
3.2. Recovered Material Content. The offeror/ contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials to the maximum extent practicable, in accordance with paragraph 23.403 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
4. PRODUCT CONFORMANCE PROVISIONS
4.1. Product Conformance. The products provided shall meet the salient characteristics of this Commercial Item Description, conform to the producer's own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices, and be the same product offered for sale in the commercial marketplace. The government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance.
4.2. Market Acceptability. The following market acceptability criteria are necessary to document the quality of the product to be provided under this Commercial Item Description.
a) The manufacturer of the item must have been producing a product meeting the requirements of this Commercial Item Description for at least 2 years Title, number, and date of this Commercial Item Description.
b) The company must have sold at least 1,000 units meeting this Commercial Item Description in the commercial market place over the past 2 years Packaging, packing, and marking required.
