4.2 First article inspection. First article inspection shall be

performed on a random unit sample drawn from the first production batch of

enamel. First article testing shall include all tests specified in table VI

and 4.6.

4.3 Conformance inspection. Conformance inspection shall be conducted

in accordance with methods 1011, 1022, and 1031 of FED-STD-141 and shall

consist of the conformance tests as specified in table VI.

4.4 Inspection conditions. Unless otherwise specified, all inspections

shall be performed in accordance with the test conditions specified in table

VI and 4.6.

4.5 Acceptance. Acceptance of the enamel shall be based upon

compliance of the enamel with the requirements of this specification

(see 6.10).

4.5.1 Definition of lot. A lot shall consist of all material

manufactured at one time (batch) or all material produced by mixing multiple

batches into one uniform unit of material.
