1.2.2.1.1 Class A. Class A should be used for spray applications.
1.2.2.1.2 Class B. Class B should be used for dip applications.
1.2.2.2 Type II. Type II varnishes should be used in the lining of munitions and chemical
containers.
1.2.2.3 Type III. Type III varnishes should be used on cartridge cases under special
conditions.
1.2.2.3.1 Class A. Class A should be used for spray applications.
1.2.2.3.2 Class B. Class B should be used for dip applications.
1.2.2.3.3 Class C. Class C should be used for roller, curtain or similar coating applications.
