A.4. SUMMARY

A.4.1 Summary of test method and results. This test procedure provides a relatively simple, straightforward,

and reproducible method to determine the ignition potential of materials used to paint the interior surfaces of a

compartment. In addition, important data on the reaction of the paint to heating of the substrate is determined. The

fact that data is a "go" or "no-go" form makes the error of operation relatively small.
